VHS Students Give Back to J.D. Dickerson
For the second time this year, Vidalia High School senior Football, Softball, and Volleyball players, along with Cheerleaders and members of the Homecoming Court, assisted J.D. Dickerson teachers and staff in greeting and helping with the morning drop off.
According to Vidalia Football Coach Jason Cameron, the event is a way for the athletes to “give back to the community.”
“To me,” said Cameron, “this is the best part of Vidalia Athletics. Our kids love giving back to the community and the looks on these little ones faces when they meet these student athletes is priceless. It’s such a great way to kickoff gameday!”
Dickerson Principal Brandon Boston was grateful that the students volunteered their time to the students at the school. “It’s a great day to be a Little Indian,” said Boston. “We are thankful for the student athletes and homecoming court representatives that came by this morning to visit our students and help with morning drop off. Happy Homecoming Week! Go Indians!”
