In a dazzling display of literary enthusiasm, Read Across America Week reached its grand finale with a vibrant Book Character Parade by the staff and students of J. D. Dickerson Primary School.
The Vidalia Board of Education, along with superintendent Dr. Garrett Wilcox, took time Tuesday evening to honor the Teachers of the Year for each school at their scheduled November meeting.
